Abstract The Champe Carter Winston Letters consist of 192 letters exchanged between Champe Carter Winston and her friends and family members during the four years she attended Barnard College from 1932-1936. The letters document Champe Carter Winston’s familial and social life and sketch a picture of what daily life was like for a relatively privileged Barnard student during the 1930s in New York City.
